We are excited to provide an opportunity for our students to make blankets for Project Linus.  Project Linus is a national organization that provides quality homemade blankets to children ages 0 to 18 who are terminally ill, in foster care, or in need.  The blankets our children make will be distributed in the San Diego North Coastal region from Clairemont to Oceanside, including Camp Pendleton. 1st to 6th graders can join us in the MUR at lunch recess to lend a helping hand and Kindergarteners can make blankets in their classrooms. No sign-up or blanket-making experience needed.

We are in need of parent volunteers to help prep fabric on Monday, Jan 9th and/or to supervise blanket making during lunch time on Tuesdays Jan 24th, 31st and Feb 14th.

Please contact Suchita Jariwala or Alison Gaconnet if you are able to volunteer any of these days or for any questions.
