Check back soon on 2020-21 updates!

We are excited to provide an opportunity for our students to make blankets for Project Linus.  Project Linus is a national organization that provides quality homemade blankets to children ages 0 to 18 who are terminally ill, in foster care, or in need.  The blankets our children make will be distributed in the San Diego North Coastal region from Clairemont to Oceanside, including Camp Pendleton. 1st to 6th graders can join us in the MUR at lunch recess to lend a helping hand and Kindergarteners can make blankets in their classrooms. No sign-up or blanket-making experience needed.

Students can stop by the MUR to make blankets during lunch recess on Tuesday, Jan 28th & Thursday, Jan 30th as part of The Great Kindness Challenge. Parent volunteers are needed the week before to help prep the blankets on Tuesday, Jan 21st & Thursday, Jan 23rd between 8am-12pm.

Please contact Suchita Jariwala if you are able to volunteer any of these days or for any questions.
